Berthoud Pass is a unique ski area in that much of their terrain isn't lift access. Instead, since Berthoud Pass ski area is atop Berthoud Pass, 4 shuttles will pick you up on certain points on the road and take you back to the summit of the pass (with a valid lift ticket of course). The advanced/expert terrain is excellent!

Editors Note: Berthoud Pass has excellent season pass deals and it boasts the highest year round bar and grill, called the Pub. Berthoud is very close to Denver and Winter Park.
