Vail operates North America's largest lift network,
with 32 lifts, including 13 high speed quads and a gondola. Complimentary
mountain tours are available every morning to help you get acquainted
with the mountain. Vail certainly has the terrain for everyone!
Editors Note: Vail has an incredible selection
of terrain. If it is cliffs you are after cliffs go under Northwoods
Express and in that general area on the front of the mountain. Vail
has the cliffs to scare even the craziest of boarders/skiers (see under
lift 4). Powder and cornices are plentiful in the back bowls and cruisers
are available by the Gondola and Vista Bahn lifs. Vail truly has it
all, except for extreme steeps, but hey, nobody's perfect.
